Each rod I make is split and planed by hand from the best Tonkin cane that money can buy. I design my own tapers. Based on over 25 years of experience, I carefully select and heat treat the bamboo to get the best balance between strength and flexibility. The result is a masterpiece of tradition, for a lifetime of enjoyment, and an heirloom for the next generation. 2-piece rods with 2 tips, Price: $900 3-piece rods with 2 tips, Price: $1100 You choose your own length and weight rod, and decide on style of cork grip, nickel silver reel seats and ferrules can be silver or darkened, rell seat inserts and finally the color of your rod. The following indicates your potential choices. Cork grips can be: cigar, far and fine, or may be your own design. Reel Seat & Ferrules can be either left silver or darkened by bluing. Reel Seat Inserts can be light or dark. Rod color can be honey or flamed darker Rod Sized run from 6' to 8' in line sizes 3 to 8 weight forward. Rod Cases: All rods come with an aluminum case and cloth bag. Hexagonal wooden cases are an additional $150.
